Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

This CMMS Administrator & Analyst will be the system-level administrator and analyst of the ministry’s Computer Management Maintenance System (CMMS) software responsible for defining and enforcing process flows, standardization, roles, and responsibilities as they relate to work order management and real property asset management.  They ensure the ministry’s objectives, goals, and values are achieved through users of the CMMS system by means of driving process improvement, monitoring and analyzing data associated with work order management, and ensuring ongoing asset compliance.  The CMMS Administrator & Analyst is the system advocate for user training and ensuring the CMMS system continues to meet the growing demands of the ministry.

Essential Job Functions

  • Monitors data quality to ensure consistency, integrity, and standardization by tracking progress of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics associated with work order management.  Publishes and reviews KPI metric reports with management teams; interprets data, troubleshoots, processes and make recommendations based on findings.

  • Monitors ongoing compliance and standardized records for maintenance history.

  • Develops and implements workflow assignment models associated with work order management.

  • Develops and implements new functionality, standard object coding scheme, best practice Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures, and scheduling.

  • Develops and supports management teams with maintaining PM plans, schedules, and workflows assignments.

  • Develops and maintains records of standardized real property asset data architecture; works with management teams to ensure decommissioned and new assets are properly recorded and task assigned.

  • Collaborates with facilities teams to reduce costs and improve quality associated with work order management and real property asset management.

Associates Degree of Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related fields (required)

Work Experience

5 years experience in facilities management, maintenance distribution, or manufacturing environment specifically in work order and asset management (required)

2 years experience in data analysis in a facilities maintenance program (preferred)

Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.

Long-distance or air travel as needed- not to exceed 10% travel.

General office environment.

May have periods of constant interruptions.

Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
