Essential Functions (7-10 statements)
The RN plans, organizes and directs nursing functions.
Develops and communicates a plan of care in collaboration with the patient in order to address all identified needs.
Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures as indicated.
Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.
Promotes the interdisciplinary team approach to facilitate the agency's ability to achieve objectives.
Demonstrates regard for the dignity of patients, families and associates to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
Ensures physician's orders are effectively implemented to benefit the patient.
Participates in initiatives and programs designed to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
Willing to assume additional responsibilities.
Department Specific Functions
Performs responsibilities/duties required by the agency as defined in the scope of service to ensure that quality patient care is given and documented.
Possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and needs of the patients as indicated.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Licensure:Current RN license in the state of Kentucky, must apply for Illinois upon hire.
Certification(s):BLS certification required
Experience: Prefer one year experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have driver's license with appropriate insurance.
