This position is primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of key tools, processes, and metrics to support Supply Chain financial and operational improvement by utilizing Tableau and SQL. In addition, this position is responsible for tracking, monitoring, and publishing financial and operational supply chain reports and key performance metrics. This position is also responsible for providing project support involving cost analysis and cross-referencing of new technologies and projects. This position will be required to collaborate with myriad of stakeholders in confirming deliverables and the optimal portfolio of outputs.
- Design and create Tableau visualization dashboards
- Create calculated fields in Tableau using SQL
- Navigate through and pull information from Microsoft SQLserver
- Document processes and create Visio equivalent process maps
- Engage with ERP, I&T, and analytics functional areas to enact changes, support tool creation, and augment portfolio of outputs
- Implement and confirm product cross-referencing information for Supply Chain
- Interface with staff members to summarize results of data and specific project details
- Training end users on the dashboard usage
SQL certification – Preferred
Tableau visualization certification – Preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification - Preferred
Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Specialty/Major: Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Business Intelligence or similar majors
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: Four to ten years of experience in analytics, data visualization, or data engineering
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent proficiency in Tableau and SQL required. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access.Superior analytical skills. Excellent written/verbal communication skills.Able to interact with other professionals at all levels of the organization.Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.Able to plan and execute complex analyses and reports.Able to bring analytical projects to completion. Ability to work independently and proactively with limited supervision to fulfill departmental objectives. This individual must be capable of working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
